There are tons of great outdoor toys to keep kids busy during the 'good weather' days. From little kids to big kids, everybody can have fun playing outside.

Bicycles and Tricycles are great toys to furnish for your kids. Riding a bike helps them to exercise and stay occupied sometimes for hours at a time. In this vein there are also rollerblades, skateboards and scooters. Anything that gets your kids moving is worth in.

This is one of the reasons that jungle gyms are such a popular outdoor toys. With a jungle gym your kids, even the littlest ones, can climb, slide, swing and run. Some of the bigger jungle gyms have different types of swings, more than one slide and lots of stuff to

climb on. Your kids can pretend to be miniature gymnasts or, well, anything else that their imaginations can come up with.

Any sort of water toys are always popular. These can range from super soakers to slip and slides to backyard inflatable pools in which the kids can swim. Swimming and water play helps keep them cool in the hot summer heat and also encourages a great deal of physical activity.

One of the best activities to do with your kids in the summer time is to set up a tent and go camping in the backyard. Your kids can pretend that they are off in the wilderness and still be close enough to home that you won't have to worry about their safety and they can come inside if the outside noises get too creepy for them to sleep.

Playing outside is one of the great joys of childhood and any kid with an imagination can spend copious amounts of time outside without needing very many 'props' at all. Simply digging in the dirt can provide entire make believe universes for your kids to play in, all without them leaving the yard.

Of course, if all else fails you can 'ask' them to help you with your yard maintenance.
